Simac Tanning Tech is the international event with the most qualified offer of machinery and technologies for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries, which takes place in Milan.

The K fair of Düsseldorf – the leading event for plastics and rubber – ended on 23 October.

Atom achieved great success thanks to its cutting-edge and sophisticated products. Special attention was paid to the new combined cutting and milling system equipped with automatic tool change solution (FlashCut Twins EMHD.)

By leveraging the versatility and modularity of the products in its range, Atom will present the FlashCut TWINS EMHD model, which is able to cut foam materials with a thickness up to 130 mm thanks to the new silenced pneumatic spindle.

The cutting tool can be combined with the milling tool (5 KW electric motor with inverter which operates the spindle up to 30,000 rpm) to perform any kind of insert at different depths in the material.

Moreover, it is also possible to perform the automatic detection of the height of the blade tool as well as of the milling tools: the operation is carried out directly by the control software upon each replacement.

Another important element is the sector vacuum chamber, where the automatic opening/closure of the sectors is performed by the control software depending on the position of the cutting geometries put on the work surface. The placement software supplied with the machine includes both the interactive and automatic mode.

Modern and sophisticated, it is equipped with a large control console, industrial touch-screen monitor and a safety laser scanner capable of automatically detecting the presence of any person moving near the working area.

The high-brightness projector that reflects in 1: 1 scale the cutting paths on the material placed on the working surface is optional.

On Thursday 12th was ended Foam Expo, the main European trade fair dedicated to the foam industry scheduled for 10-12 September in Hannover (Germany).

Atom, Atom MB, Shoemaster and Main Group will showcase their products at Shoes and Leather Vietnam, the event dedicated to footwear and leather goods to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from 10 to 12 July 2019. Versatility, flexibility and efficiency are added values shared by the whole range of products offered by the Group, including integrated solutions for all the production process stages, from shoe design to the cutting of materials, from the moulding of soles to the shoe assembly.

The 21st international Shoes and Leather Vietnam, one of the most famous one-stop platform dedicated to footwear and leather goods in Asian market, was ended on Friday.
The fair attracted 750 exhibitors distributed on 20.000 mq exhibition area and 15.000 visitors.

From 28 to 31 May, the Atom Group companies will be in Guangzhou to attend the 28^th edition of Shoes and Leather Guangzhou, the major footwear and leather trade fair in Asia which attracts 800 exhibitors from 60 Countries worldwide and over 30,000 visitors each year.

The FlashCut Flex 1515 VRX knife cutting system is characterised by an automatic visual recognition system intended for printed materials and re-cuts. The high-resolution vision system allows each element to be detected without markers or graphic reference, free from compulsory positioning.

The ROBOTARM robot discharge system is designed for the picking and sorting of the footwear components: it is equipped with matrix grippers able to adapt to any shape.

Atom show its newest technologies at CCE International, the European benchmark fair for the corrugated and folding carton industry, on stage from 12 to 14 March in Munich, Germany. Flexible and precise, Atom cutting systems are ideal for this kind of material and production.

Atom Group has successfully completed its foreign events scheduled for the first half of 2018, which culminated with Shoes & Leather Vietnam, an international footwear and leather trade fair, which has reached its twentieth edition.

In the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center located in Ho Chi Minh City, Atom Group presented its best-performing solutions for the footwear and leather industry. In particular, the visitors were able to see first-hand the operation of Atom Flashcut 1660 BP UP and 31B All-In-One, as well as the Atom MB CD3 TS2 and the Main Group technologies. Thanks to a dedicated area, the participants could also learn the latest updates of the Shoemaster CAD/CAM products.

Flash Tracer, the optical pen designed for Atom by Paolo Perbellini from Fishform, has been selected for ADI Design Index 2017, the illustrious catalog that celebrates every year innovations in Italian design.

Within the pubblication, moreover, it has been planned a travelling exhibition, with shows in Milan and Rome, where Flash Tracer hes been presented to the visitors. This is an important recognition for the continuous research and development activity that Atom has been carrying on for over 70 years .

Flash Tracer is, in fact, an hi-tech tool for IntelliView and All-in-One systems by Atom. It allows to easily mark defects and quality areas of the hides and to visualize them each with a different colour, both on the screen and directly on the material.

Flash Tracer, moreover, works as an input device able to start the nesting or cutting operations, or to modify the settings and the parameters on the cutting table. Its usage makes easy, quick and intuitive the operation of leather marking. A very important tool of Atom machineries for leather.

All the Atom Group’s brand toghether for the first time in Asia in the occasion of Shoes & Leather Guangzhou fair, held from 31 May to 2nd June: three days of business and meetings by showcasing the highest Italian technology in the shoe manufacturing industry during one of the most important fairs in China.

Hundreds of visitors were attracted to the Atom Group pad thanks to the incredible variety of solutions offered for shoemaking: the Atom knife and die cutting systems, the Atom MB machinery for shoe lasting, the Main Group range of products for injection moulding, the CAD/CAM solutions for footwear by Shoemaster.

“Atom: The Cutting Factory” moves to Pirmasens, where Atom Germany is located, after the success at La Triennale (in Milan) and Castello Sforzesco (in Vigevano – Atom headquarters in Italy) with two events, the first of which is “Kreativvitti”, from 5 to 6 April 2017.

Kreativvitti is the first and most important exhibition of cultural and creative industries in Germany, born from the idea that the culture industry is an incentive for the economic development. The show aims at promoting the exchange of ideas and projects among creative professionals, entrepreneurs and representatives of science and industry, through the organization of round tables, workshops, musical events and exhibitions.

Great success for Atom at Simac Tanning Tech, the main international exhibition of machineries and technology for footwear, leather goods and tanning industries. The group offered a complete overview of the latest innovation concerning all the steps of footwear and leather goods production.

The exhibition, held in Rho Milan Fairground between last 21st and 23rd of February, presented a new stand format for Atom Group. For the first time, all the brands of the group have been enclosed in a single space, each one with their own identity but at the same time all part of a single industrial group. The stand has been ideally divided in five different zones, dedicated to Atom, Main Group Technologies, Atom MB, Shoemaster e Atom Lab. In the center, a common lounge area becomes a meeting place of all the brands.

Atom showed its novelties about the cut of leather and synthetic material, while Atom MB displayed its innovative footwear lasting solutions. Main Group Technologies exhibited the latest injection moulding products and Shoemaster presented its innovative 3D CAD release. Last but not least, Atom Lab concept has given a glimpse to the future factory: thanks to a project that connects CAD 3D Shoemaster design, product customization and a more and more automated working cycle, visitors have been involved in a robotic cell able to produce on-demand custom shoes. A unique experience to se the future of footwear production first-hand.

Great success for Atom at Simac Tanning Tech, the international exhibition of technologies for footwear, leather goods and tanning industries held at Rho Fiera Milano, in Italy. On its 70-year anniversary, Atom has presented new important products.

The new Atom solutions has drawn the attention of many visitors with really positive feedbacks, starting from FlashCut 26B All-in-One, latest Fashion series model, able to merge acquisition, nesting, cutting and cut pieces picking into one single machine. Also the other models presented have kept the expectations: FlashCut Easy 888 L35, the first double headed Easy series cutting table and the two brand new VisionPlus scanning systems: IntelliScan 3026 B, to scan in-line and off-line premarked hides, and IntelliView 3015 B with conveyor belt, to acquire and mark quality areas.
