Traditional Skiving

This line is characterized by the classical design and includes several models, from the basic GL 12 SE (available in Extra-CE version) to the versatile GL 12 S, able to turn immediately an inexperienced operator into an operator able to achieve outstanding results skiving complex models of high-fashion products. Those models equipped with vacuum system are more productive and more ergonomic because the aspiration of the skived material prevents them from jamming the transport system, moreover the micro filter for dust improves the quality of air in the workshop. All the models share some common technical features: Knife shaft mounted on bearings, featuring special anti-dust protection guards; transport roller gears run in an oil bath; on demand gears can be supplied to allow several working speeds. It is possible to equip them with optional tools for 45 degrees skiving used in moccasin manufacturing. Models without vacuum system: GL 12 SE: The cheapest solution of the basic line (Extra-CEE countries only). The transport speed is regulated with a clutch engine; More sophisticated models: higher flexibility and optimised results. GL 12 AC: 2 transport speeds and clutch  engine. It is available as well as in the "head only" version, can be shipped with or without CE safety rules compliance certificate;   GL 12 BC: Transport speed set with mechanical clutch mounted on the machine head.  It is available as well as in the "head only" version, can be shipped with or without CE safety rules compliance certificate;   Models with vacuum system: GL 12 ATN: 2 transport speeds and clutch engine. Available in CE safety rules compliant version only; GL 12 CTN: Speed control through mechanical clutch on machine head. Available in "CE" compliant version only; GL12 S: the top of traditional skiving machines line-up, transport at variable speed.
