GL 12 S: the perfect model for all skiving needs
Atom with this model offers all the flexibility
and ergonomics you might need in a traditional skiving machine, with exceptional
productivity and quality even when operators are at their first skiving
experience.
Its technology and simplicity allows optimisation of
skiving operations so that operators job is greatly simplified.
The electronic clutch for speed control uses and "inverter"
system to control any profile or model or material. The vacuum system is
extremely powerful to easily get rid of the skived material.
This machine is clearly the ideal solution whenever top
quality results, high productivity or support for inexperienced operators
are required in the leathergoods or footwear industry.
The
GL 12 S is equipped with:

Knife shaft mounted on bearings, featuring special anti-dust
protection guards;

transport roller gears run in an oil bath;

on demand gears can be supplied to allow several working
speeds.
It is possible to equip them with optional tools for 45
degrees skiving used in moccasin manufacturing.
This model enables skiving up to 2 mm thickness, even on plated cork, rubber and
synthetic materials when using the lubricating device which can be
optionally mounted on the machine.
